At TalkToLisa, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure when you use our AI companion.
NOTE: We are not yet GDPR-compliant and do not offer our services to residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where GDPR or similar data privacy regulations apply.
1. Information We Collect
When you use TalkToLisa, we collect:
- Chat Conversations – Your chat interactions are stored so that they can inform ongoing chat relevance.
- Basic Account Information – If you create an account, we collect your name and email.
- Usage Data – We track general usage patterns (e.g., how often users engage with the AI) to improve the experience.
- Payment Information – When you subscribe to our paid service, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes payment details securely.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
2. How We Use Your Data
We store conversations to:
- Provide context to the AI about your past conversations and caregiving situation.
Conversation data is stored with encryption and is not provided to AI vendors as training data.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
To provide seamless account management and payment processing, we partner with third party services:
- Memberstack (user accounts and subscriptions)
– Memberstack handles user accounts and subscription management. They process personal data such as name and email address, in order to facilitate account creation, but they are not controllers of that data.

– Stripe processes payments for subscriptions. They collect payment details and billing information to securely process transactions.

Memberstack and Stripe do not have access to your chat interactions in our app.
4. Data Deletion
- If you request account deletion, we will delete your account data (including chat data).
- In certain circumstances where local laws may require data audits, the deleted data will be stored in an isolated archive for up to 12 months.

- We encrypt stored data to ensure security.
- We do not share user data with advertisers or external parties.
