Is my chat kept private and secure?

Yes, all conversations and care information you share with TalkToLisa are private and encrypted. We follow strict data protection protocols and never share your personal information with third parties.

When you share something with TalkToLisa that describes a care preference of either you or your loved one, or sheds light on the caring context, TalkToLisa makes a note of it in its encrypted database. This enables TalkToLisa to provide you with personalized and relevant support. This care profile information is specific to you and your loved one and is not used as part of anyone else’s TalkToLisa experience.

Our team may periodically review conversations, separately from your account details, to ensure TalkToLisa is providing helpful, high-quality guidance. If you contact us for account support, we may access your full account information to assist you.

Is there a limit to how often I can use the tool?

No, you can interact with TalkToLisa as often as you need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no usage limits or restrictions as long as you are using TalkToLisa for its designed purpose.

What about medical questions?

TalkToLisa is not a medical service and doesn't replace professional medical advice. She can help you understand medical topics, research what current studies say about treatments, and prepare questions for doctor visits - but she's not a doctor and occasionally makes mistakes.Think of Lisa as a knowledgeable friend who can help you prepare for conversations with healthcare professionals, not replace them.
